This system turns a failed septic system into an aerobic system.
Because this is a "fix" to a conventional septic system, no permits are required in most states.
Check you local regulations to make sure.
What makes this unit so appealing is that many people simply don't have the $5,000-$18,000 for a remodel when their septic system fails. This is a solution for homeowners that "reclaims" the failed septic system at a fraction of the cost of a replacement or remodel. Most chemical or bacterial additives
sold to "miraculously"
cure your system's problems, promise to affect the anaerobic process in
some way. The fact is nothing you flush down your toilet will do enough to
reverse a failing or overburdened system. Anaerobic bacteria simply grows too slow to reverse the problem! Add to that the
prevalent use of anti-biotic in soaps and household cleaners and anaerobic bacteria doesn't even stand a chance.
Once Proline's Septic Saver system is installed, you'll begin to see a change in the condition of the drain field in just a few days. Within 4-8 weeks the entire drain field will be working as it was designed to do!

Oxygen is aggressively forced
(as opposed to passively exposed)
into the wastewater.
So much O2 is dissolved into the effluent that it
literally spills over into all compartments of the septic tank and into the
drain field where aerobic activity is going on throughout the entire
septic system.
How Proline’s Septic Saver
Works:
When air is mixed with the wastewater at a near vacuum in
the Aeroblend device, four things occur:
ØThe O2 is dissolved
in the effluent in a low pressure environment. Much like sugar dissolves
into hot tea faster and easier than cold tea, this method of exposing O2
to the effluent dissolves the O2 into the effluent MUCH more
quickly than bubble making devices.
ØThe nitrogen in the
air separates and bubbles off. Compare to a diver coming up too fast. The
nitrogen separates from his blood and bubbles off giving him the bends.
ØAt the sudden loss of pressure, the cell
walls of the waste in the effluent literally burst open. Imagine a grape
thrown into space from the shuttle. It would literally burst open when it
hits the vacuum of space. This allows aerobic bacteria to eat the waste
more quickly. Also, because the effluent is so highly oxygenated,
it allows oxidation of waste material. (Picture rust, only on organic
material. Oxidation of organic material produces carbon – a very fine
black powder.)
ØBecause of the way that O2
is introduced into the system via the AeroBlend device, so much O2 is present
in the Proline system that bacteria is not the only process that “treats” the
waste material.
Much of the waste is simply oxidized (turned into a carbon
powder).
Between the aerobic bacteria and the
oxidation (burning) caused by the high O2 levels,
all that
is left of the waste going into the system is a
black carbonized powder.

water above the oxidized material!

This is the same system that is used in our aerobic unit, the PL-500, with a strainer modification added to keep large debris out of the motor. This unit will be put in an actual septic tank as opposed to an aerobic chamber, turning the septic system into an aerobic system. Working the same way it would in an aerobic unit, it creates an environment where aerobic bacteria can grow. Also, because highly oxygenated effluent is going
to the leachfield, the drainfield becomes aerobic as well. The aerobic bacteria introduced to the drainfield eats the bio-mat material that has clogged the drainfield and opens it back up to work as it was designed to work. (Note: Aerobic bacteria does not eat tree roots!)
