From air chamber

As you can see on the chart above, the Proline PL-500 does an impressive job on the influent!  Well below the NSF/ANSI standard and well below most aerobic units currently available.

In the 3 years of testing and research with this unit, there has never been a layer of scum (sewer cake) to appear on the top of the water.  That is, no sewer cake or scum has appeared in the aerobic chamber OR the trash tank!  The reason for this is because oxygen is aggressively forced (as opposed to passively exposed) into the wastewater.

O2 literally spills over into the trash tank where aerobic
activity is going on in the pre-treatment chamber.

When air is mixed with the wastewater at a near vacuum in the Aeroblend device, three things occur.

Ψ     The O2 is dissolved in the effluent in a low pressure environment.  Much like sugar dissolves into hot tea faster and easier than cold tea, this method of exposing O2  to the effluent dissolves the O2  into the solution quickly.  That is why the effluent in the PL-500 is only 31" deep.

Ψ     The nitrogen in the air separates and bubbles off. Compare to a diver coming up too fast.  The nitrogen separates from his blood and bubbles off giving him the bends.

Ψ     At the sudden loss of pressure, the cell walls of the waste in the effluent literally burst open.  This allows aerobic bacteria to eat the waste more quickly and it also allows oxidation of waste material.  Imagine a grape thrown into space from the shuttle.  It would literally burst open.

The picture of a sludge judge (at left) is from the aeration chamber of the unit.  Note that there is no slime, cake or muck in this system.  Between the aerobic bacteria and the oxidation (burning) caused by the high O2 levels, all that is left is a black carbonized powder.  The picture at right was taken from the trash tank.  The same black powder is in this sample, however, the trash tank sample has carbonized material the size of coffee grounds in it as well.  Note there is no floating layer of scum and there is nothing stuck to the sides of the sludge judge.  These samples pictured here, were taken after 12 months of operation.  (A "sludge judge" is a tube with a float valve that basically takes a "core sample" of the water in a tank.)

This is a 2 piece version of the PL-500.  The trash tank and the aerobic tank are cast as two separate units making installation with an installer’s backhoe possible.  The trash tank is 6’4” W x 5’11” L x 3’10” H.  (Approx. 1.6 yards concrete)  The aerobic tank is 6’4” W x 6’8” L x 3’10” H.  (Approx. 1.7 yards concrete)

The PL-750 - is a  750 gallon per day unit.  It is the same unit as any of the 3 units shown above with a 16" ring to increase capacity and it uses 2 of the circulation pumps and assemblies.

This is a copy of the front and back of the postcard that is sent to every installer and designer in counties surrounding the precaster's yard every 6-8 weeks.

It tells them a little about the ProlinePL-500 and gives them the name and phone number of the pre-caster near them where they can get it.

Other than buying or building a form, there is no cost or fee to become a distributor.

We do not require that forms be purchased through Proline Wastewater Equipment.  If you would prefer, you may build your own form or have a local fab shop build yours for you.  Give us a call and we can let you know at what price that we can have a form built and shipped to you.

We require that 12 units be purchased on your initial order.  After your first order, as few as 6 units can be purchased at a time, but be aware that freight cost per unit goes up substantially when ordered in lots of six units.  The clarifier box is only shipped in multiples of 12 units per pallet.
